per.doc is Articulate’s fourth Decade Show, which features some of the performances and associated projects undertaken at APS over the past 10 years. It focuses on performance as the primary component of works which present the live body in relationship to this space and its architecture, both in new performance and in documentation of (artist-selected) performance previously shown at Articulate. How artists realise their documentation has been left open.

Some of the artists who have shown performance works at Articulate during the last decade will show documentation of that work upstairs and in the backroom. These artists are Alan Schacher, Alison Clouston and Boyd, Elizabeth Hogan and Leisa Sage, Emma Wise, John Gillies, Katya Petayeska, Kit Bylett, Linda Luke, Molly Wagner, Rakini Devi, Renay Pepita, Sydney Art Exchange (Corinne Brittain, Eleanor Er, Kerry MacAulay, Anya Pesce, Elke Wohlfahrt), Tom Isaacs

Find their performance works, and the many other performance works shown at Articulate during the last 10 years, scattered among the posts seen here. The exhibition will also show a range of ways in which artists decide to document their work.

BlackLux, is an improv jam with a Dancer, a video animator, and a stills artist. Lucky Larty, Lucinda Clutterbuck and Shane Rozario are coming together to explore where and how their practices can overlap and fuse.

Lucky weaves together a tapestry of African cultures into a vibrant demonstration of contemporary dance and imagery.

Lucinda is an artist working in a wide range of media, mainly animation and she loves to engage in multi media cross platform experimental techniques.

Shane is a stills photographer experimenting with the possibilities of visible and invisible light to fuse together dimensions of the present moment.

With open creative minds, their collaborative experimentation attempts to inspire us all

'Come into the kitchen. I'm just making a cup of tea. Jack won't be long.' The big man lumbered awkwardly through the doorway on his dainty feet, grunting softly. 'Listen, Glad, it's none of my business and you can tick me off for coming,' he began, as soon as the kitchen door was shut behind them, 'But I thought you'd best know as soon as you came in from work...' If Gladys didn't know exactly what he was going to tell her, she had a shrewd idea who it was going to be about. 'Yes? What is it?'
